The young artist winner of the Art Award “Stoyan Kambarev” will be announced on 30th April.

The culmination of the successful creative work of the Foundation, named after the cult theatrical director, will again this year gather the Bulgarian art elite onto the stage of the City Mark Art Centre. All nominated young talents receive serious support for the production of their own specific projects, as well as many cash and other types of prizes. Winners are chosen by the designated jury, constituted by members of the Stoyan Kambarev Foundation – leading names from the cultural and social life of Bulgaria, headed by the Founder and Chairman of the Foundation Board Dessy Tenekedjieva. The Stoyan Kambarev Grand Prize consists of a specially-designed bronze statue created by the artist Kolio Karamfilov and a monetary prize of 3000 leva.

Nominated for her promising debut on the big stage as Boryana in the eponymous play by Yordan Yovkov, which drove her breakthrough in Plovdiv Drama Theater, for her delicate but at the same time powerful stage presence and creativity and entrepreneurial flair in  uniting young artists from different spheres of art under one roof in her newly created art space.
